Small and sturdy. I've been using it as directed for 2 weeks now. I can feel the needles on my scalp as I roll it, but it doesn't hurt.

I purchased this to try to reverse a receding hairline. So far I like it. They are tiny needles and they do poke. After using it I feel a tingling sensation after using.. hopefully that means it is working. I will update if it works.
